Description
Graphic file for the entire cast of my game Resident Evil: Assault imagined as a 2d arcade-style run & gun game. All sprites were made by me.
GAMEPLAY MECHANICS: The game is a side-scroller shooter and beat em up game with a 3 button system of gameplay divided by:
BUTTON A - Melee attacks (3 Hits)
BUTTON B - Jump/Air Kick
BUTTON C – Pistol
Each character is equipped with a regulatory pistol which requires a power bar to use and it will drain by the constant use of it, thus the main combat system for every character is based on a hand- to- hand combat. Throughout some of certain stages the player will be able to find some special weapons to use in the battle, whose attack can be performed with the BUTTON A as a temporary replacement to the Melee attacks as long as the weapon is equipped.
Survivors: All the playable characters from the franchise. Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, Ada, HUNK, Barry, Rebecca, Billy, Carlos, Krauser and Wesker have their own melee attacks; however the rest of the characters' moves can adapt to the same style of fighting depending of their respective combat style.
Bonus Characters: Playable characters from other Capcom games. Regina, Dante, Frank and Akuma have their own melee attacks. Dante and Akuma have their own weapons.
Guest Characters: Special playable characters from other survival horror media. Heather, Ash, Neville and Predator have their own melee attacks. Ash and Predator have their own weapons.
Common Enemies: Generic and weakest enemies from the franchise.
Sub-Boses: Enemies harder to kill and do more damage to the player.
Bosses: Hardest enemies and leaders of each stage/wave.
Supporting Characters: Special characters that once you rescue or help them from certain situations they will join you in the battle as temporary allies. If the player dies they will run away.
Back-Up Units: Generic soldiers that the player can call by picking up some Radio special items found in the throughout the stage. They come in some variations and factions and they have their own lifebar. The Merchant appears in the stage working as a "wildcard" allowing the player to get some special items when touching him with melee attacks.
Civilians: Non-combatant characters you will get rewards from by rescuing them from missions or certain challenges. They can't die but they can't defend themselves.
